In the Hedgerow
A peep inside a rural hedgerow, this gorgeous paper cut 'tunnel' book features three cut paper pages. The sides are formed of narrow concertina folds, so the book folds flat for sending, but can be expanded to stand as a three-dimensional piece.
Inspired by the hedgerows around where I live in the heart of rural Northumberland, it gives a glimpse through hawthorn leaves to a little robin nestled in the centre. I was so struck by the amount of moths and butterflies that our hedgerows support, so you'll spot a couple of these (and other insects) amongst the foliage. Each intricate page is machine cut and hand finished, then individually sprayed with inks to build up the vibrant colours in layers. A handmade folder and a sticker to seal it with is also included, so this makes the perfect gift.
