Garden Birds Book
This handmade concertina book was inspired by the birds that flock to my garden in Northumberland all year round. In Spring particularly, the garden comes alive with robins, goldfinches, sparrows, dunnocks, siskins, chaffinches, starlings and so many more ! The design of the background is from a mixed media painting of mine which included text from a much loved childhood bird book. The book has mossy green covers and four papercut birds peep out from the concertina folded pages.
This handmade concertina book has 7.5 centimetre square covers, and extends to about 20cm when fully open. It comes presented in a white card gift box.
